This Amino is run by art thieves, and many Amino users do not understand that it is not enough to just say “this art is not mine” or “all credit to the original artist”. That’s STILL plagiarism, you need to CORRECTLY credit the artist.
Not only that, but our artwork is copyrighted material, even if it is fan art. We drew it, so we own it. And you cannot share it without express permission from the creator. Artists need to know what you are doing with their art.
Sure, I may be more “it depends on the situation but otherwise just credit me properly and you’re good to go” with solely my own art, but I won’t stand for this.
This person who runs the Amino could care less about copyright infringement, and so much of the work of other artists has been stolen and posted here. Including OCs.

MY OC, BECKY! BEING USED BY THIS LEADER! Sure, this is @hyperchronic’s art, who I commissioned to draw her, but STILL! This is as close as it’s ever gotten to my art being stolen. (I’m not skilled or popular enough for that to happen to me).
Artwork from several artists in the MSA fandom are victims of this crime, including @thepurpah, @hyperchronic, @bechnokid, and @yuramec. To make it worse, our OCs are being stolen and reposted, being called “female Lewis” or “ghost!Vivi”. They are NOT, they are OUR OCs. And the people in this Amino are not authorized to use them without express permission of the creator.
Sure, if you’re an artist, drawing our OCs should be fine, as long as you credit us and show us, because we always love seeing other people draw our characters! Most of us do anyway, I know I sure do. :3 But anyway, I am getting off topic.
If you use the Amino app, please report it. Find the Amino that I have posted in the top image that is circled in white, and do what you can to report this community.

This girl has retraced off of another artists the sad part is the real artists passed away, this girl thinks it’s ok for her to retrace off of a artists even thou she found out about the death, she thinks the fan-art that artists did was the official art from the game which is not true.
Ok so ive dealt with this theif before but she’s started tracing other peoples art again Her url is crimsonas-fandoms-are-life.tumblr.com, last time people confronted her she faked a depressive episode while she deleted all the works that had been traced from other artists. She also seems to be ignoring my evidence to her theft. The first picture (Lewis of Mystery Skulls Animated) was originally produced by http://lvcillustrations.deviantart.com/art/Mystery-Skulls-Lewis-the-Skeleton-493665370 and as you can see in the overlay it is literally line for line. The second picture was originally produced at voidorgy.tumblr.com by Mod Hippie, and as you can see that one is line for line too, with what looks like an attempt to make a few differences. Most of their other art looks like its traced from stock photos too, and i dont understand why this person traces because if they just worked at their own style it could turn out really cute and unique
ErzaScarlet8, now going by Erza Farron, who has also used names like Sasuke Scarlet, Erza D Scarlet, and many others, continues to trace and copy. since getting a graphics tablet she’s been using that to trace. sometimes tracing straight out, sometimes stretching or squishing the image or images she traces from before tracing them.

meanwhile she still continues to insist she’s not plagiarizing and harassing people who try to tell her she shouldn’t do that. all these recent examples are traced from official art, but she has traced/copied fanart in the past as well. also, her favorite way to harass people who try to get her not to plagiarize is to find artwork with a vague resemblance to something they’ve drawn and accuse them of plagiarizing as well.
I have personally sent her a message about this (albeit anonymously), since claiming that a traced piece is an original work is one thing, while using it for commercial purposes is another. She chose not to reply.

And she @herfinaf1 on ig, her real name is herfina fitriyani, as you can see, has heavily referenced my drawing.. I have messaged her a few months ago to say “I can see you’ve heavily referenced my drawings, please credit me.”
At first she denied it, but ended up deleting all of her heavily referenced drawings from me (about 6 drawings), then blocked me
But now she has posted some of them again (i have a side account then accidentally stubbled across her account), and actually drew a new heavily referenced drawing /again/..
I know these are just sketches, but i put my feelings into them.. And drew them during my hard time in life, so at least i want her to respect them or sth..
